House Teams

At Severn Beach Primary we encourage children to value and care for each other, across all age groups and classes.

One way to do this is through our Severn Beach Familes.

We have 4 'Families' in our school.

They are:-

Sun

Moon

Saturn

Jupiter

Children can earn house points (dojos) which go towards their family. We have set a school target of 1000 dojos. When we reach our target we have a reward.

Throughout the year children get the opportunity to work together, across year groups, in their families. We eat lunch together as a 'family' on Fridays. 

These include activities such as:

• Reading Buddies
• Curriculum days such as 'E-Safety, Chinese New Year Celebrations, Creative Arts'.
• Sports Day is an opportunity for family teams to compete against each other.
